Junior Research Fellow at Zetech University

We are seeking a talented and motivated Research Fellow to join our dynamic team. The position holder will support research projects, carry out research, collaborate with fellow researchers, develop grant proposals and make meaningful contributions in the research area.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Dean Research and Postgraduate Studies, the position holder will be responsible for the following, amongst others:

• Provide essential support in planning and conducting research projects
• Providing mentorship and career guidance to students.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of relevant academic literature.
• Contribute to the development and writing of research grant proposals.
• Assisting in securing funding for projects
• Collaborate with fellow researchers, both within and outside the institution
• Provide administrative assistance related to research projects, including documentation, scheduling, and correspondence
• Any other duty assigned by your supervisor.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree qualification from a recognised/accredited University in the relevant field.
• At least 3 years post qualification work experience.
• Registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral degree qualification and progressing.
• Be registered or registrable with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
• Demonstrate potential for university teaching and research.
