Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills):
Academic Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in any of the following fields: - Business Administration, Economics, Procurement and Supplies Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• First level university degree in any of the following disciplines from an accredited University/College: - Procurement and Supplies Management, Procurement and Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration (Supplies Management Option), Economics or equivalent qualifications combined with the required work experience may be accepted in lieu of the Master’s degree. 

Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies:

• Professional qualification/certification in relevant field; preferably Procurement
• Membership to a professional body either KISM or CIPS
• Undertaken Leadership/ Management Course from a recognized institution.
• Proficient in Computer applications.

Previous relevant work experience required:

• At least ten (10) years’ working experience three (3) years of which should be in a managerial position.
• Work experience in planning, receiving and storing goods, distribution and inventory management is desirable. International experience in similar role is an added advantage
