    Key Account Manager

    Key Job Accountabilities

    • Efficiency in Sales Tracking, calling out and mitigating any risks:
      • Updating the weekly/ monthly progress of the DC accounts that will help in reviewing overall Target achievement
      • Monitoring Sell in /Sell out to ensure Healthy Stock cover
    • Product Launches and Listing Management:
      • Products to be listed within 2 weeks of presentation in line with the JBPs signed
    • Modernizing the Top Clients: 5 Steps Account Planning:
      • JBP signing and follow up
      • Monthly sharing of Turnover progress and Market share panels with Clients
      • Quarterly reviews with the Key decision makers
      • Engage and advise on CatMan initiatives
      • SOS Visibility drive in line with Market Shares
    • Gathering market intelligence and sharing with CMI and Marketing:
      • Offer shopper insights so as to align the organization with the Market needs and Trends
      • Analyze and present market trends to customer and implication of the macro-economic environment, shopper spend
    • Quality of Leadership: Focus on Cooperation:
      • Work Closely with the Internal and External Stakeholders to achieve the Organization's objectives.
      • Continuously engage on Top-to-Top Management conversations with the Clients.
    • Talent Development:
      • Motivate and guide the Merchandising Team on Perfect Store execution, Target achievement and effective selling
      • Empower them to contribute to their best
    • Internal Stakeholders : Brand Managers, Marketing Manager, Customer Development Managers, Sales Analyst, Territory Sales Managers, Finance Controllers, Customer Service Teams.
    • External Stakeholders : Distributors, Merchandisers.


    • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business
    • 2 years in a similar role within an FMCG environment
    • Possess excellent communication and negotiation personality traits.
    • Have strategic approach to short- and long-term actions and planning
    • Have good Microsoft Excel skills.
    • You are fluent in English and Swahili
