Lab Technologist
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification BA/BSc/HND , Diploma
- Experience 1 - 2 years
- Location Kitui
- Job Field Medical / Healthcare
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sample collection from patients
- Prepare cultures of tissue samples
- Establish and monitoring programs that ensure data accuracy
- Microscopically examining slides of bodily fluids
- Cross-matching blood for transfusions
- Chemically analyzing blood or urine for toxic components
- Analyze lab reports for accuracy
- Operate and calibrating lab equipment
- Deliver test results to physicians, researchers or patients
- Collect and studying blood samples to determine morphology
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualifications for the Position
- Diploma Medical Laboratory Science or Bachelor of science in Medical Laboratory Science
- Registered member of KMLTTB
- At least 1 year of experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Keen on detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work under pressure
- Compassion/ empathy
- High level of Integrity
