    Laboratory Technologist III - 4 Posts

    Job Details/Description
    Duties and responsibilities;

    •  Clean and sterilize laboratory glass ware, surfaces and equipment
    •  Document and receive samples for analysis;
    •  Prepare laboratory reagents,
    •  Carry out chemical/ microbiological analysis on samples (food, water, waste waters and beverages)
    •  Extract, isolate and identify drugs, pesticides and heavy metals from biological and miscellaneous samples;
    •  Dispose laboratory waste.

    Requirements for the appointment

    •  Must be a Kenyan citizen.
    •  Diploma in any of the following fields:-
    •  Applied sciences (chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, industrial chemistry, Biology),
    •  Food science and Technology,
    •  medical laboratory Technology,
    •  Civil Engineering or Biotechnology from recognized institution.
    •  Certificate in computer Application skills from a recognized institution.
    •  3 years’ relevant experience
