Laravel Developer at Crafted Systems

We’re on the lookout for a passionate Laravel Developer to join our growing team at Crafted Systems. You’ll play a key role in building, upgrading and scaling modern web applications that are robust, maintainable and user-friendly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is excited to develop enterprise applications with clean, elegant code.

What You'll Be Doing

• Architecting and developing full-stack applications using Laravel, Livewire, and related technologies.
• Working closely with the product manager and other engineers to deliver high-quality features, enhancements and migration to micro services.
• Optimizing application performance, security and scalability.
• Developing, Integrating and consuming third-party APIs and services.
• Participate in migrating code to Golang and Database from MySQL to Postgres.
• Writing clean, testable, and well-documented code.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong skills in Software Development and general Programming
• 5+ years of experience with Laravel and the PHP ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of Laravel’s core features: Queues, Events, Jobs, Policies, Service Providers, Eloquent, etc.
• Experience in developing and dispatching jobs via Redis
• Solid grasp of RESTful APIs, database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and application architecture.
• Comfortable using Git, CI/CD tools, and agile workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Experience in Docker, Ubuntu and related open source ecosystem.
• Experience working in a financial environment is an added advantage.
