Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading our architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring the highest standards of design and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design process from initial concept through project completion.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide design solutions that align with their vision and budget.
• Manage project teams, including junior architects, designers, and other consultants.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with local building regulations, codes, and standards.
• Present and defend architectural designs to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Registered Architect with the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS) Kenya.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a lead architect role.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Kenyan building codes, regulations, and approval processes.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Proven experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
