    Lecturer - Department of Environmental and Occupational Health

    Qualifications and experience

    • An earned PhD degree in the following specializations or related field from a recognized institution of higher learning.
      • Environmental Health with a Bachelor of Science in either Environmental Health or Public Health and registration with Public Health Officers and Technicians Council
      • Water Sanitation and Hygiene with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and registration with Public Health Officers and Technicians Council
      • Occupational Health and registered or registrable with the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services
      • Population Health
      • Demography
      • Reproductive Health
      • Health Promotion
      • Health Education
    • At least three (3) years University teaching or research / industry experience
    • At least two (2) articles in refereed journals
    • Evidence of attendance and contribution at learning conferences, seminars or workshops

    Method of Application

    A competitive remuneration package which includes basic salary, house allowance, and medical cover as per University Scheme will be provided.

    Tutorial Fellows are employed on one (1) year renewable contract up to a maximum of three (3) years.

    Copies of certificates and testimonials should also be enclosed giving the names and contacts of three (3) referees who are conversant with the applicant’s competence in area of specialization.
