    Legal Experts

    About You

    Core competencies required are:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
    • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
    • Proven experience as a legal expert or attorney
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
    • Experience in drafting legal documents and contracts.
    • Experience in representing organizations in legal proceedings.
    • Knowledge of dispute resolution and negotiation techniques
    • Ability to manage legal risks and mitigate potential legal issues.
    • Knowledge of corporate governance principles and best practice
    • Fluency in English, with excellent writing and presentation skills
    • Experience working with international development organizations or donors, such as World Bank, USAID, DFAT, MCC, FCDO, EU, AfDB and ADB is an advantage.
    • Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa
