Duties and Responsibilities
Duties at this level will include;
- preparation of materials for binding;
- shelf arrangement;
- provision of reference services to readers;
- filing of catalogue cards and press cuttings;
- Charging and discharging library materials.
Requirements for Appointment
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean Grade C or its equivalent qualification with at least a C in either Mathematics, English or Kiswahili;
- A Diploma in Library Studies or Information Science or their recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution; and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
