Maintainance Technician at Fanisi HR Solutions

Our client is a leading real estate company dedicated to excellence and innovation in property development. They are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join their team. The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance across the facility, including plumbing, electrical work, masonry, tile laying, painting and gypsum installations. The role ensures efficient in-house maintenance to reduce downtime, improve response time, and minimize outsourcing costs while maintaining high standards of safety and functionality. 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of building infrastructure including plumbing, electrical systems, masonry, tiling, painting, and gypsum works
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure all building systems remain in good working condition
• Undertake installation and repair works across multiple technical areas as required within the facility
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards at all times
• Support general facility upkeep including repairs, refurbishments, and improvements
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work carried out and report on completed tasks and pending issues
• Manage ICT systems including Wi-Fi, CCTV, intercoms, networks, and backups 

Required Specifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in facility/property maintenance
• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or related field (CCNA/CCNP is an added advantage)
• Hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, masonry and general maintenance
• Strong ICT and troubleshooting skills
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Experience working in commercial buildings, malls, apartments, or mixed-use developments is an added advantage
• Experience using basic maintenance tracking or reporting systems is an added advantage
