Maintenance Supervisor at Pwani Oil

The incumbent shall autonomous checklist from departments through operators and close gaps arising from them . He/she shall be responsible for monitoring, training and developments in the maintenance sector.

Duties

• Get autonomous checklist from departments through operators and close gaps arising from them
• Training & Development – Develop a clearly defined strategy and set of objectives that direct and drive all the decisions made especially for training decisions for the team
• Make condition monitoring (CM) and load monitoring schedule and train staff on how to carry out CM/load monitoring on various departments
• Lead the team to attend to breakdowns within the shortest time possible without compromising quality of work
• Liaise with production teams for machine improvements and modifications and ensure quality execution of the same
• Updating maintenance SOPS
• Develop PPM schedules
• Follow up on PPM implementation as per schedule
• Ensure repair & corrective maintenance of faulty parts
• Continuous plant improvement
• Machine installation & servicing
• Safety adherence

Job Features

• Bachelor's degree    BSc Mechanical Engineering (Plant option)
• Experience    3 years experience in supervisory role
• Field Experience    Pumps, mechanical power transmission systems, bearings and bearing applications
• Skills    Welding and fabrication, • Knowledge on pipe work and fitting
• Safety    General factory safety knowledge
• Added advantage    Experience in plc, electrical engineering
