    Maintenance Technician (2)

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and possess the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to ensure smooth operations. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, and executing repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

    Duties and Responsibilities.

    • Task Management.
      • Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
      • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
      • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
      • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
      • Diagnose problems, troubleshooting, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments with limited supervision.
      • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
      • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
      • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
      • Monitoring of all plant machinery & attending to machine breakdown
    • Documentation and Reporting.
      • Ensure daily maintenance logs are filled and signed.
      • Submit detailed weekly reports to the manager.
    • Health and Safety
      • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
    • Other Roles.
      • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
    • Familiarity with electrical systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and PLCs.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
    • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
    • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
