    Manager, Data Services & Operations

    The job holder has responsibility for assisting in developing data products and its related policies, assisting in the management of key data clients and upselling data products to clients to ensure sustainable data sales revenue growth. Also responsible for supporting the daily operations in all asset classes to ensure settling finality.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the data sales plan in line with the corporate objectives;
    • Promote and sell market data products to current client base in order to encourage trading activities in NSE and increase market data revenue;
    • Get insights into current global data vending standards and policies for in-house implementation;
    • Ensure ongoing feedback from clients are recorded, acted on and escalated to the team leader with proposed recommendations and mitigation actions to ensure it is closed off with the clients;
    • Manage end to end process of client accounts. This includes the entire sales process starting from client prospecting, explaining product and pricing, facilitating data feed connectivity/provision and ensuring on boarding of client is executed;
    • Consult with existing client base to source client market intelligence in support of changes to products, commercial policies and data agreements;
    • Meet business and compliance expectations by staying abreast of established market data best practice and standard procedures in relation to all market data products and services;
    • Ensure timely production of NSE trading reports;
    • Manage the NSE data services correspondences;
    • Run daily operations procedures including overseeing end of day clearing and banking runs;
    • Ensure efficient and accurate transaction processing across a broad range of products;
    • Provide troubleshooting services and support as the primary liaison between the NSE, NSE Clear, other internal departments, and the clearing members; and;
    • Responsible for the overall daily clearing operation processes and services;
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree;
    • Minimum four (4) years’ experience with ability to meet or surpass sales targets;
    • Thorough understanding of the Investment Management Process and the global financial markets (equity, fixed income, alternatives);
    • Strong financial academic background;
    • Good analytical and quantitative skills;
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills;
    • A self-starter and highly motivated; ability to work individually and within a team;
    • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and work independently;
    • Experience developing and executing a sales strategy resulting in significant revenue growth.

    • Strong communication both verbally and in writing;
    • Broad knowledge of the Capital Markets and Technology specifically including the business and technical characteristics of the industries;
    • Experience developing and executing a sales strategy resulting in significant revenue growth;
