    Manufacturing Services Manager

    Position Snapshot

    • Lead, coach and develop the Application Group team in order to significantly contribute to the fulfilment of the objectives of the business unit in terms of Innovation and Renovation (I&R).
    • Be the custodian of product and process mastership in the region
    • Implement global and local initiatives (e.g. NPDI, GREAT) in the region
    • Provide technical assistance to factories and suppliers

    Position Summary

    • Innovation & Renovation:
      • Ensure the delivery of development projects from concept to post launch evaluation in accordance with NPDI and  compliance with GI-45.002 Technical and Strategical Acceptance of New Products
      • Leverage Nestlé technology assets (e.g. PTCs and R&D Centers) and supplier expertise to support the I&R programme and to ensure compliance in materials and recipe Management.
      • Drive Nestlé Health and Wellness initiatives with regards to product I&R.
      • Review the Project portfolio with the business at least monthly and define priorities if need
    • Product, Packaging and Process Mastership:
      • Establish and ensure maintenance of key documents and systems in the AG linked to product and process mastership (e.g. Manufacturing Dossier, SAP-RM)
      • Act as the link between R&D and Factory Operations, and ensure product & process knowledge is maintained and developed within the AG.
      • Participate in Expert Networks and maintain contact with other AGs  to share best practice
      • Develop the AG Team
      • Provide feedback and coaching to individuals and team in order to develop their competencies. Ensure succession plans and development - coaching of direct reports (where applicable) including development of specific training.

    What will make you successful

    • Science or Engineer degree or equivalent complemented by a solid food industry experience within the product category.
    • Factory experience in AG, QA, Production or experience in  R&D positions
    • Project Management role involving a range of projects of varying size and complexity.   
    • Proven track record in delivering results in working with cross-functional teams (with or without direct report).                          
    • 5 years of relevant job experience
    • Problem solving approach. Target: White/Yellow Belt
