The Production Team Leader is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, eliminate waste, and improve efficiency. This role focuses on analyzing and improving the flow of materials and information throughout the production process to enhance productivity, product quality, and overall customer satisfaction.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise Production: Oversee daily production operations in the confectionery department to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., food safety, labeling).
Production Planning: Coordinate production schedules, material requirements, and labor allocation to meet production targets.
Training and Development: Train production staff on new products, processes, and equipment to ensure efficient production and minimize errors.
Troubleshooting: Resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and quality problems in a timely manner
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Diploma or degree in Food Science, or a related field.
3 Years minimum experience in manufacturing Industries
At least 3 years of experience in a Beverage, production environment is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of beverage production processes and equipment.
Familiarity with food safety and quality control systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
