Marketing and Digital Enabler at Roche Kenya

The Opportunity

• Roche Kenya is seeking a Marketing and Digital Enabler to join their team. As a Marketing and Digital Enabler you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the Affiliate. This role involves managing marketing campaigns, and working to improve brand awareness and drive commercial excellence with a great emphasis on realizing  great customer experience and satisfaction.  
• In this role, you will provide strategic insights based on market trends to the disease area teams/squads that identify key opportunities and challenges for Roche. This will ensure decision makers have the relevant information to effectively make strategic decisions and ensure the continued growth of the organization's business outcomes.
• You will also enables meaningful customer (Healthcare professional [HCP], patient, payer, etc.) interactions with Roche products and services using existing and emerging relationship marketing and digital channels, communications strategies and technology. Additionally, you will work with Customer Facing teams to deliver digital marketing campaigns, strategies and other tactics to audiences that help meet or exceed business strategies and objectives.

Key Challenges

Strategic / Tactical

• Leverage the Network to coordinate and create an enabling environment for successful Marketing initiatives.
• Provide strategic and analytical consulting support for business strategies and initiatives, and work closely with key stakeholders to deliver innovative analytics.
• Analyze data from internal and external sources, tools, and provide teams with key insights into Roche brands, competitors, market trends and customer shifting needs.
• Conduct rigorous analytics to uncover new business opportunities and insights
• Establish benchmarks to support the development of actionable strategic recommendations based on findings
• Create, gather, design and develop Business outcomes reports. Analysing patterns and trends to better support delivery on outcomes
• Development of dashboards to assist stakeholders in improving decision-making and forecast capabilities
• Oversee core marketing operations and infrastructure; planning and execution of high impactful commercial events
• Coaching of disease area teams/squads on key indicators and trends while ensuring highest quality and integrity of data
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive positioning, ensuring campaigns are tailored to meet customer needs and preferences. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product managers, sales teams, and medical affairs, to develop compelling marketing content and materials that effectively communicate key product benefits and value propositions.

Operational

• Develop key reporting metrics and performance indicators around business objectives to support better and more informed business decisions
• Provide recommendations on various statistical modeling techniques to apply within projects
• Identify, standardize and automate integration of critical reporting metrics and modeling tools to support evolving business needs and opportunities
• Provide support, consultation and training on reports as needed to ensure their use and effectiveness among users
• Design, and execute procedures to produce daily, weekly, month and quarterly reports: Product performance versus plan; competitive analysis
• Support the Business Development chapter by designing, developing and maintaining sales forecasts and budgets while maintaining the role of liaison between Primary Points of Contacts, marketing team, and the Finance team.
• Coordinate the development of Annual Brand Plans and Budget Planning process.
• Ensure adoption of digital tools and their effective utilisation by internal and external stakeholders. 
• Ensure adequate and timely marketing support for Affiliate Squads, while maintaining and developing affiliate digital marketing and engagement capabilities.
• Design and implement training programmes to up-skill Primary Points of Contacts and Marketing team on analytics, digital tools and platforms and the use of reports in order to create a high performance culture

Who You Are as an Ideal Candidate

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Science or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years proven work experience as a Marketing/Brand Manager or similar role in the healthcare industry.
• In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, content management systems, and analytics tools. 
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Healthcare marketing 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
