Good Neighbors Kenya was established in 1995. We undertake CDPs (Community Development Projects) aimed at empowering community members for self-reliance by targeting individual children and the community as a whole. We target the vulnerable and marginalized community members both in the urban and rural parts of the country with a key focus in improving access to quality education. On the other hand, we focus on empowering the parents through Income Generation for self-reliance and in order to meet their needs for a sustainable community.

Plan and conduct capacity building training for health workers in Kajiado County
Communicate with Kajiado County and other stakeholders to facilitate and improve continuity of the project
Document and report on the outcome of the capacity building training
Support other team members
Regular field visits to health facilities and communities for follow up purposes
Regularly monitor and supervise operations of project activities
Develop and prepare the report on regular monitoring regarding the operation of project activities
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Required skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields including but not limited to social work and psychology from an accredited college or university
At least 2 years working experience in related field
Experience in research methods and conducting filed based assessments
Experience in project management is preferred
Experience in providing care in multicultural practice setting is preferred
Proficient in use of computer hardware and software to document clinical care, and in use of Microsoft office applications
Knowledge of assessment, planning, implementation and standards for care/treatment plan development
