Matron (Boarding Section) at Talent Grid Africa

• In this role, you will be the heart of the boarding section ensuring that every student feels cared for, supported, and guided. The ideal candidate will combine empathy with discipline, creating an environment where young learners can thrive both emotionally and physically.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee students’ health, hygiene, and general welfare
• Administer first aid and coordinate medical care when needed
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and discipline within dormitories
• Support boarding staff to uphold a positive and safe living environment
• Be available to address student welfare needs during and beyond regular hours

Qualifications & Skills:

• Certificate or Diploma in Community Health, Nursing, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate yet firm approach to guidance and discipline
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends
• Prior experience working in a school or with children is an added advantage
