Mechanical Engineer at CDL Human Resource

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in the plastic or paper packaging industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting mechanical systems within our packaging operations. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is open to working in rotational shifts.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment used in plastic or paper packaging lines.
• Optimize machine performance to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for mechanical failures.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet operational goals.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation related to maintenance and equipment performance.
• Provide technical support during audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in plastic or paper packaging industry.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and machine manuals.
• Flexible to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
