Establishing & Optimizing plant operations and process improvement initiatives and activities in terms of plant maintenance functions; - Leading innovation management efforts, directing initiatives towards value creation opportunities both internally (operations efficiency / productivity driven) and external to our client
Developing and executing plant maintenance procedures and processes to support GMP, GPP and the quality management system; Developing electrical systems strategies to enable the Company to grow in process and product with the end goal of Leading and continuously driving a LEAN manufacturing & improvement culture with the vision to exceed customers’ expectations, and to reduce cycle time and quality outcomes within the operations processes;
Establish and ensure standard operating procedures, documentation and work instructions as far as plant maintenance and related functions are concerned.
Identifying, Developing, recommending and Executing key plant maintenance efficiency drivers;- Supports the establishment & optimization of day to day operational activities, including planning, directing and overseeing the plant maintenance operational policies, rules, Long/short-term strategies/directives, initiatives, programs, maintenance plans, goals, and annual operating budgets for electrical functions by making decisions that influence people, process and technology and ensure continuous achievement of set goals and objectives.

Train operators on Autonomous and Preventive Maintenance
Ensure operators conduct Autonomous Maintenance as specified
Conduct Preventive Maintenance as specified
Respond to breakdowns and resolve them in the shortest time
Record breakdown data
Record and maintain up-to-date maintenance spare part inventory, plan for replacement of all used parts.
ensure maximum plant / machine / equipment uptime.
Ensure that Balances and measuring equipment are available and of appropriate range and precision with proper calibration and routine checks at defined intervals.
Ensure repair and maintenance operations should not present any hazard to the people quality of the products.
Complete regular inspection of equipment to help identify mechanical issues or concerns and disassemble, repair, replace bearings, seals, gears, etc. as needed.
Maintain records as per GMP
Ensure proper utilization of spares used to get the optimum life from them.
Work within specifications and drawings, responsible for ensuring completion, minimizing waste within set dates and times.
Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
Qualifications and Experience
BSC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Firefighting & HSE basic courses (preferred)
Fluent knowledge of English
3-5 years experience in manufacturing \ production plant, preferably vegetable oil extraction plant.
Familiar with maintenance methodology and working method, maintenance optimization and industry safety procedure
