    Medical Engineering Technologist III

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Undertaking preventive maintenance and repairs of medical/hospital equipment, plants, furniture and instruments;
    2. Carrying out minor repairs of health facilities and utilities;
    3. Ordering for spare parts and consumables;
    4. Taking/maintaining inventory of medical/hospital equipment, furniture and plants;
    5. Collating and compiling information for research;
    6. Collating and compiling information on medical engineering services for input into the health information management system;
    7. Implementing medical engineering programmes and projects.
    8. Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor

    Requirements for Appointment

    1. Must be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID)
    2. KCSE Certificate
    3. Diploma in Medical Engineering from a recognized institution
    4. Two years post registration experience
    5. Registration with Association of Medical Engineering Kenya
    6. Valid practicing license

    Method of Application

    Remuneration: As per Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) Remuneration for ECDE Caregivers is as per the Boards approved consolidated pay. Terms of Employment: Three (3) Years Contract
