Medical Specialist - Anaesthesiologist at Homa-Bay County Public Service Board

Duties and Responsibilities will entail; 

This job exists to coordinate the administration of anaethetics to patients in the  Hospital theatre in preparation for surgical operations; provide modern and comprehensive Anaesthetic, Intensive Care and pain management service to patients in the hospital; provide anaesthesia with full range of anaesthetic agents, methods and techniques; observes safety standards in the operation room as related to anaesthetic agents and equipment in the hospital

Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B; Ch.B.) degree from an institution recognized by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board;
• Masters degree in Pathology (MMED ANAESTHESIA) or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution
• Registered by the Medical Practitioners’ and Dentist Board or Relevant Professional Body
• Member of relevant professional association
• Demonstrable skills and experience in various clinical areas with atleast three (3) years experience 
• Registered as a consultant by the Medical Practitioners’ and Dentist Board
