Medical Superintendent at Guru Nanak Ramgarhia Sikh Hospital [Guru Nanak R.S Hospital]

Requirements

• Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Registered and licensed with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Medical Superintendent with proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall medical leadership and oversight of clinical departments.
• Ensure compliance with national healthcare standards, ethics, and regulations.
• Lead quality assurance, clinical governance, and continuous improvement programs.
• Supervise and support medical officers, consultants, and allied health staff.
• Develop and implement medical protocols, policies, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with hospital management on budgeting, staffing, and strategy.
• Represent the hospital in regulatory audits and stakeholder engagements
