    Membership & Marketing Officer

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Work with the CEO to develop and implement membership recruitment strategies.
    • Deliver an excellent level of service to members, ensuring well-informed and prompt responses to membership enquiries, cost efficiency and Member Database system efficiency.
    • Lead the marketing function and identify, analyze, and implement new business growth opportunities.
    • Implement the Club's marketing vision and strategy in line with the strategic plan.
    • Conduct market intelligence exercises to benchmark the Club's services/products against competitors.
    • Implement marketing, advertising and promotional tasks and carry out effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the Club.
    • Onboarding sponsorships and strategic partners for the Club's various sections and activities.
    • Driving revenue growth extensively.
    • Developing and managing the annual events calendar while securing sponsorships.
    • Enhancing the Club's brand visibility and market presence through strategic marketing, partnerships, and promotional initiatives.
    • Generate and implement new product development plans including revamping Branded Club merchandise and souvenirs.
    • Promote Events: Collaborate with others to create promotional materials for events, such as flyers and posters.
    • Send out e-invites, invoices, reminders, and follow up on event payments.
    • Develop a thorough knowledge of the member database system.
    • Ensure effective communication of weekly/monthly events to members.
    • Manage social media: Create and maintain social media accounts and post engaging content.
    • Ensure that the quality and content of the quarterly newsletter are consistent, exciting and engaging.
    • Any other duties as may be reasonably expected, and which are commensurate with the level of the post.

    • Exceptional leadership and a clear sense of direction.
    • Detail-oriented and capable of delivering high-quality outputs.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong rapport with others.
    • Ability to effectively communicate timelines and project progress with both internal and external management.
    • A start-up personality: entrepreneurial, ambitious, independent, detail oriented, proactive, flexible, and resilient.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability in cross-functional and multi-cultural environments; able to define problems, collect relevant data, extract meaning and draw valid conclusions.
    • Proven ability to work as part of a management team to develop and implement strategy in a member’s club will be an added advantage.
    • Practical experience in the application of digital marketing and social media as part of integrated marketing campaigns.
    • Experience in managing budgets effectively, financial reporting, and setting up effective customer metrics and business processes.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
    • Professional marketing and or sales qualification such as CIM is an added advantage
    • 3- 5 years of relevant experience in a marketing/membership engagement role.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with social media management and content creation.
    • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
    • Understanding of Membership Based Marketing Strategies.
    • A creative design mindset.
