MERL Consultant - Public Affairs at Ipsos Synovate

Key Responsibilities:

• Write proposals for evaluation and TPM work
• Lead evaluations including liaising with stakeholders, managing projects , analysis and reporting.
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction amongst our clients
• Be part of the senior management team of the Kenya office to build M&E strategy
• Network and share information on our work with stakeholders across  SSA and elsewhere.

Experience:

• Experience leading external evaluations – i.e. leading evaluations of third-party projects and  programs is critical.
• Master Degree in related field
• Experience working for a private sector development consulting firm.
• Expertise in a wide range of evaluation approaches and methodologies,  but must include understanding of complex evaluations involving RCTs  and quasi-experimental designs, and quantitative design, data analysis  and report writing relating to those.
• Strong technical expertise in quantitative survey design, analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated expertise developing winning proposals evaluation work  in the development sector.
• Experience working in the African region.
• Must have excellent and high quality English language to global  proposal and report writing standards.
• Ideally based in Kenya and a Kenyan citizen but qualified candidates based elsewhere will also be considered.
