Job Overview
The Violence Prevention and Response Technical Unit (VPRU) provides dynamic support to IRC’s country offices on VPR programming—including direct technical assistance to country program staff—ensuring innovation, promotion of standards, and improvements for all VPR programming implemented by the organization.
The primary role of the VPR Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer is to support the set up and implementation of MEL systems within VPR programs. This includes supporting VPRU-led projects in carrying out routine MEL, supporting data analysis to improve programs, and helping the VPRU MEL team to identify and analyze opportunities to improve data collection and management.
This position will work closely with the VPRU MEL, project, and country teams to support MEL strengthening and promote consistency across data management and use for recurring VPRU programming.

Working Environment:Standard office work environment with up to 25% travel when it is safe to do so. This role may require working remotely full or part time and part time remote employees may be required to share workspaces.
