JOB DESCRIPTION

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Weld vehicle chassis, frames, body panels, and other metal components using welding techniques.
• Assemble and fabricate vehicle parts according to production requirements.
• Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Repair defective or damaged vehicle components through welding and fabrication.
• Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and metal fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure, cut, shape, and fit metal components accurately before welding.
• Perform finishing work, including grinding and smoothing welded surfaces.
• Maintain welding equipment and report faults or maintenance requirements.
• Follow company health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
• Work closely with the production and assembly teams to achieve daily production targets.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma in Motor Vehicle Welding, Fabrication, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automotive welding or vehicle assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
