Multilateral Assistant at Embassy of Peru in Kenya

Requirements

• University degree or advanced studies in International Relations, Law, Political Science, Environmental Studies, or related fields.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written.
• Previous experience in international organizations and/or diplomatic missions is desirable.
• Knowledge of Spanish and/or Swahili is considered an advantage.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Kenya at the time of application.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide substantive support to the Mission's multilateral agenda.
• Monitor meetings, negotiations, and processes within UNEP and UN-Habitat.
• Prepare background notes, briefs, matrices, talking points and reports.
• Support delegations during conferences and high-level meetings.
• Coordinate with UN Secretariats, other Permanent Missions, and relevant stakeholders.
• Organize and maintain multilateral documentation and institutional records.
• Perform other duties as assigned, in accordance with the needs of the Embassy.
