Multimedia Expert at Shamiri Institute

We are looking for a multimedia expert who will be responsible for capturing and editing videos to create content and tell our organization’s story.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinating pre-production plans such as technical support, lighting, sound, backdrops, and other requirements before the shoot.
• Filming/Video shooting.
• Video and audio editing as well as final presentation of the product.
• Advising the organization on equipment required.
• Taking care of and maintaining available equipment.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills

• Competent working knowledge of video equipment.
• Experience with digital technology and editing software packages (Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut).
• Demonstrated video editing expertise with a solid portfolio.
• Sound production/ audio editing (Audacity and Fruity Loops).
• Eye for detail and creativity.
• Ability to maintain a strong work ethic and great collaborative relationship with other team members

Highly Recommended

• Photo/digital editing- Photoshop or similar software

• The contract will run for three months, starting in January 2022 (renewable to full-time depending on performance).
