Requirements/Qualifications

• Fluency in English.
• Good communication skills, pleasant and positive attitude.
• College/ High School Diploma/ Certificate. 
• Police Check Certificate.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt.
• Knowledge of and experience in cleaning services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of general cleanliness within the Chancery
• Ensuring that the consular reception is clean, well-kept and flowers replenished/ properly maintained.
• Cleaning of the Chancery, both inside and outside, including, sweeping, tidying, vacuuming, dusting, polishing and sanitizing offices, toilets, showers/ bathtubs, hallways, furniture, fixtures, carpet, rugs, floor, windows, mirrors, glass services, ounters, and sinks.
• Cleaning and maintaining the Mission driveway and watering plants
• Disposal of the Chancery garbage appropriately.
• Preparing and serving tea and refreshments to members of staff and guests.
• Assisting with catering services during official functions
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the High Commissioner and other authorized officers.
