    Officer, Card and Channel Operations – Acquiring

    Job Purpose Statement

    The role holder is responsible for the implementation of the DFS operational strategy and ensure Channel Services’ overall success and profitability. The incumbent’s primary responsibility is tdevelop and implement integrated operations and internal evaluation strategies and tensure optimal service standards tcustomers over the Digital Business channels. The role alsinvolves planning, maintenance schedules, new installations and upgrades tensure minimum disruption tthe business. The role shall involve operational risk mitigation and fraud management. Tproactively reconcile transactions from all card acquired channels, analyse and resolve transaction and account discrepancies across the multiple and complex system interphases in a timely manner tminimize operational losses and exposures that arise from frauds and/or system breaks. The holder will alsprepare financial reports and present to the stakeholders on a weekly and monthly basis showing the position of the Business and making recommendations on grey areas that need redress. The holder shall alsbe responsible for reconciling all suspense accounts. Tensure full compliance with The Group Finance Policy, Banking Act, Unclaimed Assets Act and CBK Prudential Guidelines, Operational Risk Management, and preparation of Financial reports tstakeholders advising on different Business trends that will aid in monitoring and making financial decisions for Business position and growth.

    Desired work experience:

    • At least 2 years banking experience preferably in highly automated environment
    • Demonstrated record of accomplishment of determining and executing on process efficiencies designed timprove workflow and client experience.
    • Proven successful project management and organizational skills, including creating and managing work plans, resolving issues, etc.
    • Full and extensive knowledge of PCI DSS, Visa/MasterCard Rules and Obligations, Compliance regulations and chargeback reason codes.
