The Operations EV Finance Specialist Lead oversees the end-to-end processes of financing electric vehicles (EVs). This role ensures seamless onboarding, financing, and operations management for EV clients while driving efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction. It combines operational expertise, financial acumen, and strategic thinking to optimize systems and support business growth

Roles & Responsibilities

Operational Management:

• Oversee daily operations related to EV financing, including customer onboarding, loan processing, and repayment tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve workflows for client servicing and financing operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds and resolution of operational challenges.

Financial Oversight:

• Evaluate the financial viability of EV clients and recommend tailored financing solutions.
• Monitor repayment rates, identify risks, and implement corrective measures to ensure strong portfolio performance.
• Develop and analyze reports on financial performance, collections, and operational efficiency.

Client and Partner Engagement:

• Manage relationships with EV manufacturers, fleet operators, and customers to enhance the financing journey.
• Provide technical and financial advice to clients to support sustainable operations.
• Resolve customer escalations promptly while maintaining service quality standards.

Data and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all financing operations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer data, financing terms, and repayments.
• Leverage data analytics to identify trends and propose data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Leadership and Team Development:

• Lead and mentor the operations team to achieve performance targets.

Required Skills for an Operations EV Finance Specialist Lead

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations, finance, or a similar role, with exposure to EV or asset financing.
• Strong knowledge of loan management systems, repayment models, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, CRM, Mambu, or related platforms).
