Operations Lead at Fanisi HR Solutions

Our client in the logistics space is looking for an Operations Lead. Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Lead will be the overall team lead responsible for the quality execution of the strategic goals.

He/she will ensure sales targets are met and promises to customers are delivered. He/she will ensure efficiency and sound financial management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cascade the company’s strategic goals to the team and ensure they are met
2. Oversee the financial management of the organization for optimal value
3. Spearhead business development and sales initiatives
4. Lead the line management team and guide organizational performance management
5. Responsible for managing all the fixed and moveable assets 
6. Oversee and direct the preparation and review of reports
7. Research and analyze the impact of the economic climate on the business
8. Lead the operations function and ensure policies, procedures and tasks are actioned
9. Evaluate and recommend business strategic partnering opportunities

Person’s Specifications

1. At least five (5) years in senior management
2. Excellent leadership and management skills and experience  
3. Minimum Degree in Business Management or equivalent from a recognized University
4. Strong work ethic and follow through
5. SME experience preferred
6. Experience leading projects in a small business will be a strong advantage
7. Excellent Microsoft Office skills
8. Strong project management skills
9. A good administrator with planning and coordinating skills
10. An excellent communicator able to manage difficult clients or teams
11. A good understanding of finance is a strong plus
12. Proven ability to sell
