Optometrist at Lapaire Glasses

Start Date: September 2021

The Optometrist will be part of our B2C team in Nakuru, Kenya.

The B2C Optometrist will conduct vision tests within our optical centers. He/she shall also be involved in sales and marketing of Lapaire products and services.

He/She will work closely with the Branch Manager & Expansion Manager, as well as a Sales Representative.

His/her job will be composed of 2 main tasks

Conduct & realize vision tests with potential clients

• Mastering digital and analogue tools to conduct vision tests
• Identify potential sight problems
• Explain clearly the benefits of eyeglasses based on the sight problem identified previously and help make the sale of the product

Manage lenses deliveries

• Verify that deliveries of lenses match orders
• Make sure that lenses are properly mounted on the frames
• Manage deliveries of eyeglasses to customers

Candidate profile

1. Graduated with a degree or diploma in Optometry.
2. Previous professional experience as an optometrist highly appreciated. Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role is required to be considered for this role.
3. Possessing sales & marketing skills would be an advantage.
4. The candidate should be comfortable using new technologies, mobile apps and softwares on phone & computer.

Salary range is KES 40,000 - KES 50,000, depending on skills and years of professional experience.
