Outbound Supervisor at Hotpoint Appliances Ltd

Job Purpose

• Overseeing and optimizing timely and accurate dispatch of goods & ensuring efficient truck utilization.
• Job Responsibility and Accountability
• Ensuring orders are processed and dispatched on time.
• Ensuring order accuracy.
• Protecting goods from damage during handling and transportation.
• Maintaining a safe and productive work environment. 
• Minimizing transportation expenses through efficient load planning and route optimization.
• Minimizing damage to products and reducing dispatch errors.
• Ensuring all manifests are printed and signed before the release of the truck.
• Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety.
• Any other duties assigned by Management

Qualification

• A minimum of Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

Experience and Key skills

• Exposure to warehouse operations, procedures, and inventory techniques.
• Hands on 3 years’ experience in warehousing and stock control in a formal setup.
• Proficiency in using WMS software for order processing, inventory management, and dispatch.
• Knowledge of the entire logistics process.
• Exposure to using an automated warehouse inventory system i.e. Orion.
• Should have good work ethics and integrity.
• Resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
• Ability to deal effectively and courteously with the rest of the team
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good numerical skills.
• Excellent planning, coordination and Time Management skills.
• Teamwork and Collaboration.
