Painter at Woodnork Green

 The successful candidate will be responsible for painting and finishing a variety of surfaces including woodwork, metal works, signage, fabrication works, office fittings, vehicles, and other branding structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, cleaning, masking, and priming.
• Apply paint, varnish, lacquer, powder coating, or other finishes to wood, metal, vehicles, and fabricated items.
• Mix and match paint colours accurately to required specifications.
• Ensure smooth, neat, and high-quality finishes.
• Carry out spray painting and hand painting where required.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain painting tools, spray guns, compressors, and work area in good condition.
• Observe all safety procedures and proper handling of paints and chemicals.
• Collaborate with fabrication, carpentry, branding, and installation teams.

Requirements:

Education/Training: Certificate in any of the following: 

• Spray Painting 
• Automotive / Vehicle Spray Painting 
• Artisan Certificate in Panel Beating and Spray Painting 
• Painting and Decoration 
• Industrial Painting 
• Related courses in wood finishing, metal finishing, or surface coating 
• Proven experience in spray painting & surface finishing 
• 3+ years of relevant experience 
• Attention to detail & commitment to quality
