Pharm Technologist/Technician at Neema Hospital

DUTIES

• Verifying dosage on medications prescribed by health care providers 
• Preparing prescriptions according to  instructions
• Educating patients about how and when to take or administer the prescription 
• Advising patients about potential side effects of medication and answering any questions they may have 
• Oversee and manage pharmacy interns and technicians 
• Basic record-keeping and administrative tasks, as required
• Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a pharmacist
• Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc.
• Good organizing skills
• Excellent communication skills with a customer oriented approach
• Integrity and compassion
• Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmacology
• Valid practicing license
