Pharmaceutical Technologist at Columbia Africa Healthcare Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Superintendent Pharmaceutical Technologist for the facility.
• Ensure compliance with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations and all relevant laws governing pharmacy practice.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing, stock management, and patient counseling.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled drugs, and pharmacy documentation.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure professional standards of practice.
• Promote medication safety, adherence, and good dispensing practices.
• Support procurement and formulary management in line with facility policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant post-licensure experience.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya.
• Must hold a valid and current Superintendent Pharmaceutical Technologist License (Unattached).
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, ethics, and good dispensing practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
