Reporting to the Accountant, the Pharmacy Cashier coordinate customer’s transactions accurately and efficiently to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Accept cash, credit, and debit payments and provide accurate change to customers.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area and surrounding areas.
Be able to demonstrate proficiency in all Cashier duties including “work flow”.
Provide friendly and helpful customer service, including answering questions and resolving customer concerns.
Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, and returns.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for customers.
Stay up to date on pharmacy/drugs knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
Minimum of CPA 1, Diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years experience in the same or similar role
Have basic knowledge of the functions of Pharmacy computer system
