    Physiotherapist

    Radiant Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Kenya and beyond. We have an enviable legacy of providing quality and affordable health care. We have 7 Branches which are conveniently located in Nairobi and its outskirt.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized
    • At least 2 years of experience in a busy physiotherapy clinic (Hospital experience will be an added advantage).
    • Be of mature, friendly, confident and caring
    • Possess appropriate personal characteristics such as effective Patient
    • Ability to pay attention to detail and report
    • Proficient in Computer
    • Must be diligent, honest, responsible and self-disciplined.
    • Demonstrate good leadership skills with the ability to work under minimum or no
    • Good spoken and written English and

    Responsibilities

    • Supervising specialist therapies such as hydrotherapy and electrotherapy.
    • Work with patients who have a range of conditions, including neurological, neuromusculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory, sometimes over a period of weeks;
    • Diagnose, assess and treat their physical problem/condition.
    • Develop and review treatment programs that encourage exercise and movement by the use of a range of techniques;
    • Involve parents and cares givers in the treatment, review and rehabilitation of patients.
    • Educate patients and their caregivers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions.
    • Write patient case notes and reports and collect statistics.
    • Liaise with other healthcare professionals, such as GPs, consultants and nurses to exchange information about the background and progress of patients, as well as to refer patients who require other medical attention.
    • Keep up to date with new techniques and technologies available for treating patients.
    • Supervise student and junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy support workers.
    • Application of Plaster of Paris.
    • Be caring, compassionate and professional at all times.
    • Manage clinical risk.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
