    Planning Engineer - H10

    Brief Description        

    • Originate, plan for, implement, analyze and refine short and long term maintenance activities to meet company business, aviation authority and third party requirements in the assigned area.

    Detailed Description        
    Principal Accountabilities (Responsibility) 

    • Prepare & update maintenance program for aircraft and components. 
    • Plan for the timely availability of ground time, capacity, materials, equipment and tooling and take all necessary actions to ensure a 100% executable package. 
    • Plan and prepare work packages for aircraft & component maintenance checks including the accomplishment of modifications, SB’s, AD’s and engineering orders. 
    • Control and evaluate the work progress on aircraft and component checks and give feedback on the status of the check. 
    • Communicate with production and other supporting areas on the status of planned maintenance actions and provide details of any further actions required. 
    • Prepare & update aircraft & component maintenance status records (mainly AD & mod status). 
    • Create and update detailed short-term maintenance plans on aircraft checks incorporating deferred defects, component changes etc for a window of at least 3 months.

    Job Requirements        
    Qualification (Minimum) 

    • Graduate engineer from a recognized university (mechanical, aeronautical electrical/electronic). 
    • Planning courses. 
    • Knowledge of a database software/MRO system. 
    • 2 years' experience in an Engineering or Maintenance environment or as a Graduate Trainee Engineer. 
    • Demonstrated ability during the course of attachments.

    • Must have great communication skills 
    • Demonstrated computer skills.
