JOB SUMMARY

• Plan and execute appropriate activities for the students each day according to the curriculum, schemes of work, and lesson plans
• Assist with the planning of the curriculum by providing safe, creative, and appropriate educational opportunities for all children within an inclusive environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified teacher with a P1 diploma
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
• Demonstrate a strong passion for education and young children
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Team player mentality – enjoy working in teams and group problem-solving.
• The successful applicant Must be able teach  a combination  of these activity areas CRE, SOCIAL STUDIES and AGRICULTURE & NUTRITION.
• Be conversant with  Key computer applications.
• Registered by the TSC and issued with TSC Number
• CBC trained (Both JSS, Primary )

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans, while establishing and communicating clear objectives for all learning activities
• Keep updated with developments in the subject area, teaching resources, and methods, and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities
• Prepare the classroom for class activities and be able to use relevant technology to support instruction
