Job Description

• Responsible for the members of the paid firefighters of the department and the enforcement and direction of Rules
• Regulations and orders of the Department;
• Responsible for the administration
• Report preparation
• Record keeping,
• Discipline and efficiency of the paid firefighters.

Job Qualifications

1. Be a Kenyan Citizen
2. Bachelors degree in disciplines such as rural development, disaster management or social science
3. At least three (3) years of work experience
4. Excellent ability to quickly grasp and synthesize inputs from a range of disciplines related to disaster management and development;
5. Proficient in using the prevalent computer applications (word processing, presentations, email, etc.)
6. Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision;
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills, team oriented work style, interest and experience of working in multi-cultural environment.
8. Fluency in English is required.
