Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervising and delegating duties to support workers and volunteers.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality support and training for volunteers involved in the various on- going development projects.
• Work with community groups and provide a range of activities to help them boost their income.
• Identify and build on communities’ assets and capacities.
• Help communities to share knowledge and resources effectively.
• Help to set up new services in liaison with interested groups and other stake holders.
• Recruit and train paid and voluntary staff to help them better their lives.
• Attend relevant meetings and present verbal and written reports on the needs and issues faced by the disadvantage members of the community.

Requirements for Appointment;

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Community Development, Social Work, Psychology, Anthropology, Disability
• Studies or any other related field from a recognized university.
• Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies
• Certificate in senior management course lasting not less than Four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
• Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution.
• Certificate in Social protection from a recognized institution. 
• Certificate in Social Risk Management from a recognized institution
