Use process modeling software to simulate, develop and refine our process model including the different components of the machine; using advanced thermodynamic and chemical expertise.
Perform tests on the machine to calibrate and validate the model with real data.
Investigate the set of operating conditions and identify a stable operating mode
Collaborate with the R&D team to facilitate decisions on the operating point trade offs
Collaborate with the R&D team to provide clear component specifications, ensuring compatibility with process model.
Contribute to the scale-up process of prototypes, ensuring that designs are feasible for industrial production.
Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, aiding in decision-making processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on process engineering
At least 3 years of experience in relevant field
Proficient in process software (e.g., gProms, Aspen Adsorption, Simulink, ChemCAD, GSPro)
Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for model development and analysis
Understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamic, chemistry kinetics & fundamentals of adsorption/desorption
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
