Procurement and Logistics Assistant at DKT Healthcare

Overall purpose

To support the Procurement and Logistics team in the delivery of services efficiently and effectively.

Key Relationships

• External – DKT customers; third-party logistics company 
• Internal – Across the organization maintain effective communication with all departments, especially with Finance, Marketing, Programs and Procurement

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier coordination, and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Coordinate supply chain, import, and warehouse operations by managing inventory, tracking shipments, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain procurement records in SAP, prepare reports using Advanced Microsoft Excel, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Registered member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM)
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in procurement, supply chain, imports, or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in SAP and Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and data analysis.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Work references should be available upon request.
