Product Manager at Sanergy

About The Role

We are hiring a Product Manager to join the IT team. You will work alongside developers and report directly to the General Manager - IT. To succeed in this role you will have a keen eye for gaps in our product offerings and the innovative mindset to fill them. You are a highly skilled analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of enterprise software products production — from conception through release and to subsequent continuous product improvement.

 Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyse our end-users’ needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective
• Analyse current and future product requirements and develop appropriate implementation programs and production timelines to ensure they’re successful achieved
• Appraise new product ideas, end-user requests and feature requirements, and strategise appropriate implementation plans
• Translate software application product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by Development team
• Responsible for the QA processes for the Software Applications and working closely with end users to drive adoption
• Responsible for managing the project implementation and release schedules for the software products and keeping the end-users apprised of status. You will be the designated team’s Scrum Master for the Software Development Sprints
• Supervise a team of Analysts and work with the development team to support prioritise feature releases and ensure that they understand the specifications.
• Support in the Quality Assurance and Testing and documentation of features for the Production Environment

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Computing/Business Related fields.
• Experience taking software projects through the entire software life-cycle (requirements analysis, design, implementation, deployment, post deployment support).
• Strong experience in a dynamic software product management role with proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
• Previous software and web development experience and highly effective at working with cross-functional teams.
