    Production Coordinator

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Implement Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and other applicable policies procedures while continually evaluating their effectiveness and propose improvements.
    • Improve equipment reliability by identifying failure modes and sustainment of the process and operational consistency to reduce cost and raise performance.
    • Proactively seeks out potential failures with all equipment, conducts preventive and corrective maintenance work, orders for equipment and spares as per work schedule.
    • Support Management Team through establishment and tracking of plans to meet production and quality goals; revise plans as necessary to meet surge conditions and other production challenges.
    • Daily review of production and quality data; identifying trends and problem areas; develop and execute corrective actions as necessary to keep production and quality performance on track.
    • Coordinate in planning and scheduling, inventory control and maintenance purchasing for all repairs, products, work schedules and meetings.
    • Engage and collaborate with supervisors and Operations Officer to facilitate production and quality improvements, avoid bottlenecks and support continual operations improvement.
    • Organize, establish and assign work schedules for department staff to ensure efficient and effective department operation; load balance staffing to ensure smooth operations and avoid production bottlenecks and backlog.
    • Supervise, the staff operations and working procedures to guarantee the safety of all the staff and achieve zero accidents.
    • Guide, direct and mentor production team.
    • Ensure all production employees understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
    • Supervise and validate completion of administrative reporting across the department e.g., daily statistics, and generate reports when required.

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma/Degree or equivalent with at least three years of production experience in an avocado oil processing factory.

    • Communication and interpersonal skills

    • Proficiency in quality control, managing budget and production costing.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of production team.
    • Strategic planning
    • Process improvement
    • Coaching skills
    • Computer skills
    • Ability to work extended hours to meet deadlines when necessary.
