Production Network Technician (M/F) at HM.CLAUSE

Main Goal

Main responsibility is to supervise and help out-growers to ensure seed production (from sowing / transplanting to seed extraction) is according to targets of quality, quantity, timelines and costs for farm-allocated crops and to record all production data. It requires agronomical skills.

Job Description

• Be an agronomist with green finger
• Ensure that timely visit of crops at all stages of crop cycle to monitor crop development
• Discuss and advice growers to adopt best practices for seed production
• Based on the crop stages and crop condition advising/instructing growers to apply crop protection products
• Responsible for training to production growers
• Production Data and Analysis and reporting
• Monitor plants delivery and seeds shipment to from grower network to plant operation
• Ensuring timely and realistic update of the production estimates and delivery
• Ensure external and internal compliance

Profile

• Holder of degree in Horticulture/Agriculture.
• 4 years’ experience,
• Experience and knowledge of a similar position
• Must be proficient in oral and written English & Swahili.
• A strong personality with overview.
• Must be proactive and work with little supervision
• Able to work in isolated area
• Should be a team player and motivator.
• Should be flexible and willing to learn.
• Holder of a valid driving licence

Minimum Level Of Education Required

• Bachelor's degree
• Specific expertise
• Agriculture/Agronomy

Minimum Level Of Experience Required

• 5 years or more
